The Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium ( is seeking a part-time project manager and curator for our Digital “Quality Guidelines” platform. The project manager would work hand in hand with Consortium co-leads (Université de Genève-InZone & UNHCR Education) and members to manage the curation of an interactive, digital playbook of quality guidelines in connected learning in emergency settings. The dynamic platform is nearing completion, the digital playbook curator would then support with the collection and curation of new materials from Consortium members.

Approximately 15-20 hours a week

The contract is time-limited (Start date: 15 May 2019. – End date: 31 December 2019); renewable subject to donor funding


Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in digital content creation and curation
  • Ability to work remotely and with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of CLCC and/or eagerness to learn more about connected learning in emergencies
  • Good listener and trouble-shooter
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral),
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Highly adaptable technology skills, with experience in moderating online discussion platforms
  • Bachelor’s Degree(s) required, Master’s Degree preferred

Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree is not acceptable

  • Work with consultant(s) who create the digital platform during the last phase of platform creation; includes answering questions, providing feedback, and beta-testing the newplatform
  • Work collaboratively with Consortium co-leads and Consortium members to review the quality guidelines for consistency
  • Work collaboratively with Consortium co-leads and Consortium members to solicit content and to transform that content into practice cases linked to the quality guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with Consortium committees to create feedback pathways for CLCCcommittees, individual members and site visitors
  • Plan promotion strategies for the QualityGuidelines
