The INEE secretariat, members and partner organisations have translated the Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies, Chronic Crises and Early Reconstruction into ten languages, with more planned.

Training materials and promotional resources have also been translated and are available below.

Arabic

• Minimum Standards Handbook in pdf - Translated and produced in hardcopy with the support of UNESCO Amman, UNESCO Beirut and INEE. Bahasa Indonesian

Bangla/Bengali

• INEE Minimum Standards in pdf - translated and produced by the Disaster Forum and UNESCO Bangladesh with the assestance of Commonwealth Education Fund, 2007. For hanbook copies, please contact the Disaster Forum: df@bangla.net.

Burmese/Myanmar language

• INEE Minimum Standards Handbook in pdf - translated by UNICEF Myanmar, 2008. Note that this is a draft version currently undergoing review. The final version will posted here when available.

Chinese

Dari

• Minimum Standards Handbook in Dari translated by the Female Education Program of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Pakistan, IRC Afghanistan and CARE International in Afghanistan, 2006-2007 (the joint effort has resulted in a synthesis translation which utilises both Pakistan and Afghan Dari usage)
• Introduction to Dari Translation (English) and the need for additional proofreading
