Paris Regional Tools Launch
More than 50 participants attended the regional good practice tools launch in Paris on 5 November 2010. It was co-hosted by UNESCO and a range of participants attended including those from UNESCO and UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), non-government organizations, representatives from African Ministries of Education, UNICEF and several UNESCO delegations. Participants actively engaged in the full-day interactive event to celebrate the release of the four new INEE tools focused on improved educational preparedness, response and recovery including:
- INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, Recovery
- INEE Guidance Notes on Teaching and Learning
- INEE Reference Guide to External Education Financing
- INEE Pocket Guide to Gender
Additionally, participants engaged in a lunch session that launched the revised edition of the IIEP Guidebook for Planning Education in Emergencies and Reconstruction. More information on the Guidebook can be found here
